Hazel & Friends is a publishing brand inspired by the unconditional love and spirit of Hazel, a Plott Hound adopted during the 2020 pandemic.  Founder R.J. Sparks - a mom of three, grandma of three, and a passionate storyteller creates books that combine fun with purpose - offering tools to explore emotions, spark imagination, build connections, and relax.

 

From interactive coloring books, activity journals, and word searches to inspiring stories, every project is crafted to nurture creativity, resilience and confidence.  When she isn’t developing new books, R.J. enjoys time with her husband, four fur-babies (Hazel and three cats) and her family - drawing inspiration from everyday adventures that bring laughter, learning and love.
